About the Instructor/Author
Don began his real estate career in 1983, earning his Virginia Sales Associate license before advancing to a Virginia Broker license in 1992. That same year, he founded his own real estate company in Virginia, specializing in property management, residential sales, and log home construction in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains.
By 1996, Don became a licensed Virginia Real Estate Instructor and relocated to Virginia Beach, where he expanded his expertise by teaching pre-licensing, continuing education, MLS training, and computer courses. His passion for education and commitment to student success quickly became central to his career.
In 2001, Don relocated to Florida, earning his Florida Broker, Real Estate Instructor, and Real Estate Appraiser Instructor licenses. He continued teaching pre-licensing courses while actively listing and selling real estate. Over the years, he partnered with respected national education providers as a course writer and permit holder.
From 2018 to the present, Don has focused on online education—editing, revising, and developing high-quality digital coursework. His instructional work spans Sales Associate and Broker pre- and post-licensing, exam prep, real estate math and calculator classes, Property Management, Broker Management, Investment Analysis, NAR Ethics, and Florida’s required 14-hour Continuing Education. He has taught for multiple Realtor associations and continues to shape new and experienced professionals through his course writing and curriculum development.
With more than four decades of real estate experience and a deep dedication to student success, Don brings a practical, engaging, and supportive approach to real estate education. His mission is to help aspiring Florida real estate professionals build a strong foundation, pass the state exam with confidence, and launch successful careers.
