After taking the the Pre-licensing Course at OnLine Training.
Here are the four steps to getting your FL Real Estate License:
1. Complete and pass this 63 Hour FL Sales Associate Pre-licensing Course. This course remains accessible for you to study for the State Exam until your course expiration date. Please contact OLT at 561-283-0333 if you would like additional time in your course to prepare for the state exam.
2. Get fingerprinted: Being fingerprinted for a background check is part of your application for the state of Florida Real Estate License. Read more about that here. Each vendor sets its pricing, but the cost can range from $100 to $200. You will need to give the Livescan Service Provider this ORI number: FL920010Z
3. Submit your application to DBPR (Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation): Wait at least 5 days after getting your fingerprints done before submitting your application. After reviewing the information on this page, click on a link at the bottom to apply online or by printed application. The application fee is approximately $85. The DBPR reviews all applications, but Pearson VUE will send an email letting you know your application was approved and that you are eligible to take the state exam. The approval process generally takes between 10-30 days.
4. Schedule and pass the state exam: After you receive an email from Pearson VUE with your candidate ID (FLREAPP ID) you can schedule your state exam. To schedule an exam, call 888.204.6289 or visit PearsonVUE.com. The cost for the exam is approximately $40, and you must pass the state exam with a 75% or higher. You must bring your Certificate of Completion from this course to the state exam, showing you have successfully passed the course.
